Make your way to the InterContinental Johannesburg Sandton Towers this winter to experience culinary excellence at The Atrium with 3-course menus that are sure to excite your palette, and pocket!

Spoilt for choice, two set menus present a selection of three sumptuous starters, mouth-watering mains and delicious desserts respectively, all rolled into one incredible special offer at only R250 per person.

Atrium chef, Amina Lebelo and food and beverages manager, Sean Riley have added an exquisite touch to the menu with the skilfully selected amuse bouches; angry duck in tofu pockets drizzled with green goddess sauce or wild mushroom vol-au-vents, it’s all about choice.

Balancing extraordinary flavours, guests have a variety of starters from which to choose. Such examples include roasted plum and tomato soup with a hint of basil, lobster ravioli with warm leek salad or marinated smoked chicken with pink grapefruit coriander.

The main meal selection offers familiar favourites with a twist; select a slow braised lamb shank in rosemary sauce, seared beef fillet with brie smothered in a pear and coriander salsa or an Aztec bean stack on guacamole with jalapeno tomato sauce.

Such creative cuisine could only culminate in a decadent dessert.  Perhaps a pepper-dew cheese cake would peak your fancy? Dark chocolate marquise, vanilla mouse and sacher cake with a unique orange salad and crème anglaise – a chocolate temptation that would certainly be difficult to resist.

Whatever your choice, one thing is certain: The Atrium is the restaurant to dine at this winter.

For the next 8 weeks, Tuesday to Friday one can enjoy superb cuisine in an inimitable ambience created by a live jazz band that entertains patrons on weekday evenings.   At only R250 per person, including a welcome drink, the proverbial cherry on top is sweeter than ever at The Atrium.
